Mother’s passing. It is a time to reflect and be in communion with my deceased mother. Already I miss her so…as well as my father, who passed away 19 years ago. I grieved with my two children, brother, family and close friends, thanks.
After spending a few days in Switzerland, it is with a heavy heart that I resume the race. From this moment until the completion of our World Tour, it is with you in my thoughts Mom, that I will be running that very first kilometer every day ! |

A one way trip.
I am not mournful for good times gone by, but rather thankful that those days existed. She passed away suddenly, alone at home in Sion
(Valais-Switzerland), on November 3rd.

On our way from Washington to Baltimore… 31-10-2004 à 16:40 |
Drizzle, fog and wind have accompanied us lately. As I am running from one town to another, on the East Coast of the USA, thousands of multicolored leaves whirl in my path.
While in Kansas City and St-Louis Missouri, a gentleman by the name of Joe Roetheli, an American descendant of the Roetheli family having immigrated to America around 1854, organized for us 2 days of conferences, meetings, newspaper and televised interviews, to publicize and promote our World Run for Kids Tour. Our cause; the eyes of children operated by Ron Zamber.

Nicole has dental problems.
After an examination and X-ray, the dentist refers us to another, who will perform a root canal… she is referred again to a third dentist who completes the dental treatment.
All 3 professionals are supportive of our endeavors and provide services free of charge. We offer many thanks to Mr. Thomson, Mr.Wozniak, Mr. Mamrick.
Our motorcycle needs servicing; a few parts have worn out. Mrs. Caroline of Heyser Cycle has provided repairs at no cost to us. Thank you.
Throughout this, Darren offers his hospitality, another deep felt thank you. People have demonstrated much solidarity toward our World Tour.
